AI Multicam: The Hardware Story
John Bicket sits down with hardware CTO Ben Calderon and Marshall Haltom, a mechanical engineer on his team, to explore Samsara's new AI Multicam.
They talk about how this product expands on existing dash cam technology, adding four more AI-powered video feeds to provide complete 360-degree visibility for large vehicles.
Marshall shares stories from the trenches of installing many AI Multicams across a variety of fleets, from school buses to garbage trucks and construction equipment, lying on a gravel path in the blistering heat of Arizona or in the cold of the fall on the East Coast.
