Janice (a scholar of gothic literature) and Phil (a former cast member of two predominantly caucasian stage productions of The Wiz) attempt to process all 1,225 episodes of the 1960’s gothic horror television soap opera Dark Shadows for the first time! Seize the cobwebby candelabrum of their tipsy non sequiturs and illuminate the crooked path before you! A most unnecessary and grotesque objective awaits.

No, YOU’RE falling asleep while recording a Dark Shadows podcast! Episode zero zero zero three of Objective 1225 is brought to you by Oboes™. Show notes, including sources and more information about sound bites, as well as apologies for thinking Cary Grant was Scottish and explanations for the late post and all of the noises we accidentally make, etc: https://objective1225.wordpress.com/2026/09/27/0003-this-icky-sticky-town/ (https://objective1225.wordpress.com/2026/09/27/0003-this-icky-sticky-town/)
