Talking about all my obsessions in excessive detail, this podcast takes a look at the hyperfixations of Gabriela (that's me!) and breaks them down until she's bored of them... or has moved on to the next one. With each season focusing on a different obsession, there's bound to be a variety in topics and material, though you're never quite sure what it will be until you're in the middle of it. You know what they say, "you don't choose the hyperfixation - the hyperfixation chooses you"
It's time for the first-ever guest on Obsessive and Excessive! In this episode, we welcome Nick Guerrero, music director and 2 time MD of our title show, to the podcast to chat about Escape to Margaritaville!! Join us for a new perspective of the show, some cherished memories from the production Gabriela and Nick worked on together, and the differences from doing the same show in two different places. Thank you again to Nick for sharing his time back in February when we recorded this interview - give him a follow @nickguerreromusic on Instagram and Nick Guerrero on YouTube for some of his music!

Wasting Away Again: You Don't Need Google, You Got Me
In this episode, we'll be taking a look at the libretto/book of Jimmy Buffett's Escape to Margaritaville. Want the experience of seeing the show but are currently unable? Gabriela's got you covered with an excessively detailed plot summary of the show (staying true to the podcast's name) that goes scene by scene, as well as some commentary on the writing as a whole. It's like watching the production unfold right before your eyes... minus the singing and dancing... so maybe not quite that. We'll save the one-woman show for another time.
