Reaching Prisoners via the Pando App from God Behind Bars
In today’s podcast, I spend 10 minutes talking with Henry Miersma about an exciting new effort that Oceans Ministries has undertaken to tell of the Father’s love to thousands of prisoners throughout the country.
(https://www.godbehindbars.com/pando-app)An organization named God Behind Bars (https://www.godbehindbars.com/) has developed an App that runs on the tablets used in many prisons across the country. The app, named Pando (https://www.godbehindbars.com/pando-app), is the first and only app that is allowed to bring faith-based content into prisons in this manner. Currently, 459,950 inmate tablets have the Pando App installed, but more are expected in the future.
Click the link below to listen to the podcast and hear details about how the effort was started as well as details about some of the initial response the effort has garnered.
Please pray that God might move the men and women in prison to read The Journey to the Father’s Heart ebook, or watch the related video series, and come to know Christ as their personal savior.

What Does God’s Kingdom Look Like?
I recently spoke with a group of men from southern California, parents of students at Ontario Christian High School, who accompanied their kids on a trip to Lesotho, Africa, and experienced God’s Kingdom in a tangible way.
Dads Kevin Hardy, Perry Eichor, Chris Congleton, and Bryan Vander Tuig discuss their experiences of traveling to Lesotho with their kids, seeing and experiencing God moving and working with them and through them during their time in Lesotho. The groups teacher/leader, Jeremy Zuidema of Ontario Christian, also relates how God provided for him to step out of his comfort zone to embark on the trip and was faithful beyond expectations in blessing the group’s time and efforts.

Tim Spykstra Discusses Climbing Prayer Mountain
I recently spoke with Henry Miersma about my new prayer devotional, Climbing Prayer Mountain. Here are some quotes from the conversation:
“It’s crazy how Climbing Prayer Mountain came together, but God put this book on the front burner… So I think He has something for it. I think that especially in the days that we’re living in… God is calling his body, His beautiful Bride, to seek His face. When we seek Him, we find Him.”
“Prayer is that incredible vehicle that brings us deeper into the heart of God, and that love relationship with God. That brings us the strength, the security, and the joy we need to make it in challenging days.”

Pray Ekballo! – An Interview with Michele Bennett and Danny Unterkofler
The Greek word Ekballo means “to hurl, thrust or propel.” It is a forceful action as opposed to a passive one, like when you are thrown into a situation and you don’t have control. In today’s podcast, I interview two of my friends – Michele Bennett and Danny Unterkofler – whom God has thrust into the harvest fields in such a manner.
Michele Bennett is preparing to move from Chino, California to Maseru, Lesotho, Africa, to assume the role of operations manager at Beautiful Gate, Lesotho (http://www.beautifulgatelesotho.org/). As you listen, notice how God pursued and called Michele over the course of several years time.
Danny and his wife Kaylyn are an anointed ministry team that serve a church in Orange County, California. (http://www.edgechurch.us/) Danny shares how his journey has progressed and how God has showed Himself faithful through the development of new relationships.
Please keep Oceans in prayer as we seek to make the Love of the Father Known around the world.

The Ripple Effects of Faith
While in Africa I had the blessing of doing a podcast with Bryan & Anita Geurink, directors of Beautiful Gate Care Center in Lesotho. The Geurink’s step of faith has had a ripple effect that God has used to transform lives all over the world. As I listened again to their remarkable “yes” to God’s call and the specific details of their daily journey, I was challenged anew to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and step out of the boat. I pray you will be blessed!

Reflecting on 40 Day Prayer Challenge with Ray Spykstra
I had the privilege of interviewing my dad, Ray Spykstra for this podcast. Listen in as he shares some amazing stories from his experience of reading and giving away over a 100 “Draw the Circle – The 40-Day Prayer Challenge,” books by Mark Batterson.
One of the stories he shares in the podcast is about a man named John Bandimere, one of the owners of Bandimere Speedway in Colorado. Right after our podcast my dad received a letter from John telling my dad that all 7 of his siblings started the “Prayer Challenge.”
I hope you will be blessed by listening to this Podcast and hearing how the Holy Spirit is moving through the prayers of His people.
