<p>2022-2023 öğretim yılı içerisinde kurulan Yabancı Diller Kulübü ÇEVİRİNİN DÜNÜ BUGÜNÜ YARINI başlıklı konferansını gerçekleştirdi. Moderatörlüğünü Arş. Gör. Merve Peköz’ün yürüttüğü konferansta Fırat Üniversitesi Mütercim Tercümanlık Bölüm Başkanı Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Naciye Sağlam çeviribilim ve çevirmenlik alanındaki kariyer fırsatları ile ilgili bilgilerini paylaşırken, çevirmen Ferit Burak Aydar çevirmenlik ve editörlük mesleklerinin avantaj ve dezavantajları hakkında öğrencileri bilgilendirdi.</p> <p> Son zamanlarda artan yapay zekâ kullanımının çeviri alanına olası etkileri üzerine de konuşulan konferansta bu alanda ilerlemek isteyen öğrenciler teknolojik gelişmeler ile çevirmenlik alanında ortaya çıkan yeni fırsatlar ile ilgili bilgi alma fırsatı buldu.</p>
