Ep. 7: Hope ft. Ankur Warikoo

If there's one word I'd use to describe Ankur.. it would be "Hope". He's hopeful for the future of content, education, entrepreneurship and so much more in the world. Let me be honest: THIS WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EPISODE ON THIS PODCAST. However, I couldn't resist. This was one of the most honest conversations I've had yet. I was 'hopeful' when I jumped on his Instagram Live session. I was 'hopeful' when I asked him if I could interview him and he said yes on that session. I am also 'hopeful' about everything, just as we all are.. that everything will work out fine and that life finds a way. That's the exact sentiment that Ankur approaches life with and I hope you will take that with you after listening to this. We talk about EVERYTHING! Tech, Family, Love, Life and so much more! This was an improvised edition of the podcast and I hope you enjoy listening to it! For people who don't know Ankur Warikoo: Ankur Warikoo is an entrepreneur, angel investor, mentor and a highly sought after public speaker. He spends his time creating content, instructing students through his courses and actively mentors and coaches startups and entrepreneurs. He has been the founder of many startups. He founded nearbuy.com (http://nearbuy.com/) in 2015 and was the CEO until 2019. Prior to that, he started the Groupon India business in 2011 and was the APAC GM, until 2015. He loves public speaking, connecting with people, storytelling, and making awareness cool. He has spoken at a number of corporate events, education institutions, and conferences. Ankur’s content revolves around the subjects of finance, education, the concept of time, stories from his entrepreneurial journey, careers, relationships, etc. His Brand “Warikoo” was started in 2016. The brand was started primarily to own the story and to create a brand for potential talent. And with this came “Warikoo Wednesdays” on LinkedIn. Since then, the brand has grown many folds and is present across most top social networks. The brand continues to grow largely through video content, by helping people make choices from a point of awareness and not ignorance. Check out his website: https://ankurwarikoo.com/

Ep. 6: The World As We See It ft. Shraddha Srinath

If there was one thing you could change about a generation of people, what would it be? Is the problem with us or with varied ideologies about the upbringing of kids? These are just some of the questions we touch upon in this episode of ‘Off Air with Kay’ as we speak to Indian Film Actress and eternal optimist, Shraddha Srinath. To the world, Shraddha is a lawyer turned actress who first made her debut in the Kannada hit film, 'U-Turn' directed by Pawan Kumar. Since then, she has starred in many Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films. Shraddha Srinath is known for her work on 'Vikram Vedha' (2017), 'U Turn' (2016) and 'Operation Alamelamma' (2017). She has starred alongside veterans like Madhavan and more recently, Mohanlal, in Aarattu! To me, Shraddha is a friend with a timeless connection. I had the privilege of acting alongside her in musicals before she began her escapade in films. More than anything else though, she is a person who holds a special place in my heart with the conversations we have shared. I’m excited to bring that side of her to you. This episode will speak to you if you’re in a place in life where you’re wondering, ‘what is the legacy I’m leaving behind?’; She feels strongly about parenting, bringing up kids and the environment and it shines through beautifully here. So plug in, and enjoy this episode as we dive into great conversation. Find Shraddha Srinath on Instagram: @shraddhasrinath Co-written/Produced by Kasturi Navalkar.

Ep. 4: The Silver Lining ft. Madhuri Braganza

Have you ever been in a horrible situation and tried to see the good in it? Struggled and then gave up? 'The Silver Lining' in a situation is a myth, right? Or is it? If you've been a person who has consistently focused on the dark clouds rather than "The Silver Lining", my guest on the podcast will really help you with that! To the world, Madhuri Braganza is a Malayalam & Kannada movie star; She is a special educator, has a huge love for music, the stage and cats! To me, Madhuri is someone whom I first met when we shared the stage as we performed in musicals together. More than that though, she is a person that I have a lot of love and admiration for purely because of everything she's been through and how she still manages to show up everyday and stay positive, regardless of what life throws at her. Another podcast where we speak completely from the heart. If it's everything I can't say on the radio.. It's Off Air with Kay. Happy listening! Ep. 2: Ideas Of Love feat. RJ Prithvi

Do you believe in 'love'? We all have different views on love we don't talk about openly. Could that be the reason that the institutions of love, marriage, sex and relationships are so fragmented? On this episode of 'Off Air With Kay', I speak to Bangalore radio legend, RJ Prithvi! He opens up about his two marriages, his two divorces and the different ideas of love prevalent in the world today. Whether you know Prithvi or not, whether you know me and my language of love, or not - this episode will speak to you regardless, on a level that is relevant, that is universal, quite unlike the unique concept that is love. We guarantee that you've never heard this on the radio! So hop on while we explore untold stories from his life, reveal his ideologies about life and love, and dive into a conversation full of humour, an unexplainable chemistry, refreshing honesty and ,of course, of love. To the world Prithvi Vishwanath is an award-winning RJ and currently hosts "Mad Mornings'' on Fever 104FM in Bangalore. He is an Indian actor, a professional emcee, Improv Artist, former national-level tennis player and is also a certified powered paraglider pilot. But to me, Prithvi was the first person who mentored me through my radio journey. To me, he's been a friend, an elder brother and one of the closest people in my life. It was only fitting that I had him on my first guest episode after all that he's meant to me. Social Media handles to stalk Prithvi: Instagram: rj.prithviv , Co-writer/Produced by: Kasturi Navalkar ; Note: THE CONTENT OF THIS PODCAST IS PURELY PRITHVI'S POINT OF VIEW AND OPINIONS.
