Heute gibt es eine lang ersehnte Folge mit Dr. Mechthild Sinnig für euch! Sie ist Oberärztin für Kinderchirurgie und -urologie sowie ärztliche Leitung des Zentrums für schwerbrandverletzte Kinder am Kinderkrankenhaus auf der Bult in Hannover. Niklas und Alexa waren bei ihr zu Besuch und haben mit ihr nicht nur ein paar Mythen zu Brandverletzungen aufgeklärt und Wissenswertes über deren Versorgung gelernt, sondern auch Einblicke in Dr. Sinnigs Karriereweg, Vorbilder*innen und eventuelle Fallstricke in ihrem Werdegang erhalten. In dieser abwechslungsreichen Folge haben Anne und Ivanka Frau Prof. Dr. Olga Kordonouri zu Gast. Anne hört ihr dabei heute zum ersten Mal. Frau Prof. Dr. Kordonouri ist Fachärztin für Kinderheilkunde und Jugendmedizin und unter anderem Chefärztin der Diabetologie sowie ärztliche Direktorin des “Kinder- und Jugendkrankenhaus auf der Bult” in Hannover. Zudem forscht sie auf dem Gebiet des Diabetes mellitus Typ I. In unserer Folge wird es deshalb nicht nur darum gehen, wie Frau Dr. Kordonouri von Athen nach Berlin an die Charité und schließlich hier nach Hannover gekommen ist, sondern auch neue Therapiemöglichkeiten des Diabetes mellitus Typ I und die besonderen Herausforderungen in der Pädiatrie gehören zu unseren Gesprächsthemen.
