And while the term "DINK" has been around since the 1980's, I've found being open about living this way still carries a lot of stigma. You have to answer questions such as: how you can afford that yearly trip to Walt Disney World?How can you be so selfish? Or my personal favorite...you're going to regret it one day.This podcast isn't here to shame parents for having kids. It's here as a safe space for those who choose this lifestyle (or sometimes don't) and want to find others who feel the same way. It's a show whose focus is the four-legged children (particularly dogs), and how you can help them live longer, happier lives. My mission is to build a community of childfree/childless pet parents who are proud of the life they've built. So whether you’re struggling with what to feed your dog for optimal health, or need some advice on how to deal with a society that doesn’t value non-traditional forms of parenting, this show is for you. From interviews with other DINKWADs, pet industry professionals, and my own personal experience, the information on this show is meant to help you, your partner, and your dog(s) know you're in good company.
