Off the Beaten Clef is a weekly music podcast. Originally beginning as an album review podcast, OTBC has now evolved to playlist building, new music review, and so much more. Hosts Cody Garrett and Dillon are excited for the new era of the show that will continue the spirit of new music discovery and sharing their passion for music.
This week, we’re discussing the hardcore punk album of the year - NP Style by No Pressure. It’s a great album that has had no promotion besides from the fans and is a testament to what is great about the word of mouth of music. If it’s great and meant to find you, it will. Cody and Dil have been anticipating the record since it was loosely teased in November of 2025 with a simple description, “No Pressure album Summer 2026” which left us wondering - when in the summer? We break down the album, our favorite tracks, and everything in between. Thanks for tuning in.

243. Paramount Kings Island
We grew up near one of the biggest attractions in Ohio, the theme park formerly known as Paramount Kings Island. We spend the episode reminiscing about growing up in the theme park, the epic highs and lows of riding rides and adolescence. We draft our favorite rides (some that have gone to coaster heaven) and others that have changed names and persevered. We finish the episode with a ten song playlist we devised to fit the mood of Kings Island, both old and new tracks to remind us of a simpler time.
Special thanks to Getz, Jayla, Speakers Push the Air Zine, Louie, Ben, Ricky and Randy for all submitting their favorite rides of KI.
