Welcome back to The Shadowsphere, where Shadow sits down with wrestlers from the Death Match and independent wrestling world to talk about their careers, memorable battles, life outside the ring, and everything in between. This episode features Joe Dred, fresh off one of the biggest accomplishments of his Death Match wrestling career: winning CZW Tournament of Death 23.Dred battled through a brutal two-day tournament in Townsend, Delaware, beginning with a Hasta La Muerte Casket Death Match against Nino Extremo. He returned the following day to defeat SLADE and Tim Strange in a Three-Way Panes of Glass Death Match, earning his spot in the Tournament of Death 23 final. In the final, Dred faced Bear Bronson in an Exploding Time Bomb Countdown To Hell Death Match, ultimately surviving the chaos and claiming the Tournament of Death 23 championship. But Tournament of Death 23 is only the latest chapter in Joe Dred's journey through the world of hardcore and Death Match wrestling.Dred's career dates back to 2018, and over the years he has competed in some of the most notorious Death Match environments in the United States. His résumé includes appearances with CZW, XPW, FIST, and other independent wrestling promotions, sharing the ring with some of the most recognizable names in the hardcore wrestling world. His Tournament of Death history alone includes battles against names such as Big F'N Joe, Mickie Knuckles, Mad Man Pondo, Nick Gage, Akira, Drake Younger, and SHLAK. Dred came remarkably close to winning previous editions of the tournament, reaching the final of Tournament of Death 21 against Mickie Knuckles in 2024 and the final of Tournament of Death 22 against SHLAK in 2025.His career has also included championship success outside of CZW. In 2022, Dred defeated Sage Sin to win the FIST XXX Championship in a Death Match, and he has competed in XPW against some of the biggest names in the hardcore wrestling scene. Now, after years of competing, surviving, and coming up just short, Joe Dred is officially a Tournament of Death winner.🎙️ In this episode of The Shadowsphere, Shadow and Joe Dred discuss:💀 Winning CZW Tournament of Death 23🩸 His brutal road through the Tournament of Death⚰️ His first-round Casket Death Match against Nino Extremo🪟 The Panes of Glass Death Match against SLADE & Tim Strange💥 The Exploding Time Bomb Countdown To Hell final against Bear Bronson🏆 Previous Tournament of Death appearances👊 Battles with Nick Gage, SHLAK, Mickie Knuckles, Mad Man Pondo, Akira and more🔥 His wrestling career and evolution as a Death Match wrestler🎭 Life inside and outside the ring📅 What's next following his Tournament of Death victoryIf you're a fan of Death Match Wrestling, CZW, Tournament of Death, Hardcore Wrestling, Ultraviolent Wrestling, Independent Wrestling, or professional wrestling, this is an episode you won't want to miss. The Shadowsphere goes beyond the violence and the spectacle to tell the stories of the wrestlers who step into the ring and put everything on the line.Follow The Shadowsphere for more interviews with wrestlers from the Death Match and independent wrestling world.#JoeDred #JudgeJoeDred #TheShadowsphere #TournamentOfDeath23 #TournamentOfDeath #CZW #DeathMatchWrestling #Deathmatch #HardcoreWrestling #UltraviolentWrestling #IndependentWrestling #IndieWrestling #WrestlingPodcast #WrestlingInterview #ProWrestling
