They also touch on the dangers of comparing oneself to others on social media and the importance of doing what works for one's own mental health. <br/><br/>Further conversation includes the challenges they faced during their breastfeeding journeys including pressures and expectations, the lack of quality support from lactation consultants in the hospital, difficulties with bottle refusal, & how rapid weaning can cause Post-weaning Depression. They also touch on the topic of dysphoric milk ejection reflex (DMER), a condition that causes feelings of rage or irritability during breastfeeding.
