   EP010 - Simon Robinson

HEY! We made it to ten episodes! I can’t thank you all enough for listening! Appreciate ya and tell a pal! EPISODE 10! This one is a treat! This week I talk to Simon Robinson and if you don’t know Simon, he has had one of the most wild stories of starting as a zoo keeper to being a production coordinator for Slipknot. Simon has worn many hats as a Merch manager, production coordinator, and tour manager for such artists as Skindred, Coal Chamber, Devil Driver, At The Drive in, Bring Me The Horizon, and Slipknot. We talk about his journey from the zoo to working for Slipknot and how he is holding up through the pandemic in the UK. We also talk about the Iowa State Fair and how it is a far superior fair to all fairs. Enjoy! Bob has worked for such artists as Maggie Rogers, Elle King, Stephen Kellogg, Bronze Radio Return, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and Julia Michaels just to name a few. Bob is one of my favorite people and this is an awesome episode. Enjoy it and take care of each other! EP004 - Joy Johnson & Joey Brodnax

Happy New Year friends. We are going for a double whammy for the first episode of 2021. A two for one if you will. We have Joy Johnson and Joey Brodnax on the podcast. All three of us have experienced so much on so many different tours with different artists, that it seemed strange not to have them both on together. Joy Johnson @joy_ofalltrades (//www.instagram.com/joy_ofalltrades) does everything under the sun on tour... hair, makeup, stylist, personal assistant, TM assistant, and merchandise manager. She has worked for such artists as Maddie and Tae, Kaleo, Eden, and Roanoke just to name a few. But, Joy has also found her groove during the shutdown, like honing her craft at the @delta.apollo.hair.studio (//www.instagram.com/delta.apollo.hair.studio) in Nashville and focusing on her art, which you can check out at www.harmonyjoyart.com (//www.harmonyjoyart.com) Joey Brodnax @joeybrodnax (//www.instagram.com/joeybrodnax) solidified himself as a one stop shop for artists and brands. Based in Nashville as well, Joey is an incredibly talented videographer, photographer, director, producer, editor, and artist on top of that. Joey basically breathes content from making his name with artists like Kaleo, Eden, Ato, Betcha, Chloe Gilligan, Taylor Noelle, and Bristol Maroney just to name a couple. In Joey's downtime, he has also been creating and putting out his own music, which is amazing, and very worth checking out! Please check out everything Joey has going on over at http://linktr.ee/joeybrodnax (http://linktr.ee/joeybrodnax) For all things Oil Spotted, please check www.linktr.ee/oilspotted (//www.linktr.ee/oilspotted) You can follow me, Matt Schmitz @TiredCommentary (//www.instagram.com/tiredcommentary)

He has worked for such artists as Carly Rae Jepsen, Panic! at the Disco, Anderson .Paak, and Never Shout Never just to name a few. Our conversation really focuses on his current career of web development, live streaming, and how that will play into the future of live performances for artists. Ian is an incredible audio engineer from Seattle, WA that I have been lucky enough to be stuck on a bus with a few times.
