With a comedic bent, Boomer and his nutjob sidekick Jimmy Ahmahdoofous often converse with people about their unusual professions or job experiences along with episodes that are potpourri in content.
It's weird, it's quirky, it's PotPourri time! This is a format we do every now and then that is a miscellaneous collection of literary gems I've pulled from Facebook and other sources, including the poem "The Moon Is Not A Fire Escape," weirdly cute romance by Justin Garth Hatchett, that develops in a psychiatric ward. I'll give credit to the authors when possible. Some will make you laugh/smirk/ or snort while others will get you in the "feels." If you don't care for one piece, hang on and enjoy the next one.

Do your farts have an acceptable exit velocity rating? Potpourri XI
That question and other windbreaking stories (see what I did there?) will be dealt with in this potpourri edition of OK Boomer, in which my cohost Jimmy Ahmuhdoofous and I share literary gems we've culled from Facebook and other sources. Some of our readings will make you snort, others will tug at your heartstrings, with all of them designed to entertain.
Here are some titles of our readings:
"The Diameter of the Bomb"
"Tomorrow Has Bad Ideas"
"Hardchore" (and erotic poem writtten for Good Housekeeping magazine)
Come on in. We'll have some fun.

Attention Maintenance: Code Brown at the Water Park
"Each day we'd be responsible for the entertainment and the well-being of 50,000 people."
So says Lacie Mayer, describing Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL, a place she called home for 20 years. In this episode, we conclude our conversation with Lacie who started at the bottom and rose to top level management in her tenure at Six Flags. This episode covers spills and chills on the rides, what Code Brown might mean at the waterpark, and the makings of Fright Fest.
