   Shooting Your Shot

   In this episode, I talk about the idea of people shooting their shot and why I have a problem with how people respond to it. In all honesty, I think that too many people have politicized the idea of someone trying to compliment someone else in person. Obviously, the society has exposed the dangers and the misfortunes that have happened with literal psychotic and sociopathic people who have gone too far; however, I have never seen the problem with someone who takes time of their day to compliment you in person and then leaves you alone afterwards. No matter what, you will be uncomfortable but it is important to know which type of uncomfortableness you're dealing with when it comes to a situation like that. I think it is very odd that we have to denormalize the idea of someone trying to compliment/flirt with you in person when that's how in-person interactions started. I hope you enjoy today's episode!

   "Do something that makes you happy"

   In this episode, I talk about the issue with the mentality behind "do something that makes you happy" in accordance with a social situation I was put in where I had to justify why I wanted to pursue a career in the field of law. To be completely honest and real with you, that social interaction I had with them about my future goals and career field, made me feel extremely dumb-founded. I don't understand why there is this stigma about how WANTING a 9-5 job experience means that you won't be happy - because I can attest to that statement, that I assure you I will be just fine.    Recognize Your Roots Canada

   In this episode, I hold myself accountable by expressing my anger and frustrations towards my own actions as someone that identifies as Canadian and as someone who is a settler to Canada. This episode is not trying to cancel Canada as a whole nor is it trying to "cancel" Canada Day. This episode is a mere expression of understanding how Canada actually came to be and the establishments of settler colonialism has shaped Canada in the way that it is today. It has been far too long that Canada only just now, begins to realize their political and social injustice towards Indigenous people. It is heartbreaking, and as someone who identities as Canadian, I want to express my sorrows and my willingness to do better, learn more, and be more educated regarding these topics. Change needs to happen WITHIN the governmental system.

   Maturity Levels

   In this episode, I talk about one of my biggest pet peeves - lack of maturity. This is no way, shape, or form of me showing how "mature" I am, but recognizing the difference of maturity in myself compared to many people I have encountered in my life. I am not trying to say that I know what being mature means but through my experiences thus far, I think I have a pretty good grasp on what it's about ;). Nonetheless, I rant about what I have seen in people who have thought that they were mature; but have completely misread their actions. I hope you enjoy today's episode!

   Customer's Always Right is BS

   In this episode, I talk about the inconsiderate and ignorance that customers acquire while shopping for material goods within a company's perimeters. To begin, I also mention the specific case regarding Demi Lovato and her issue with a local fro-yo shop in LA. Her reaction to the company's labelling of product was very ignorant as she failed to consider how that business operates through company morals and company protocols. Moreover, her behaviour of wanting company's to "do better" with their labelling is the epitome of everything that is wrong with this myth of "the customer's always right."    "spoiled"

   In this episode, I talk about how many people have associated me with the idea that I am an only child and that my family is wealthy. THIS IS THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION ABOUT MYSELF THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD. I wanted to talk about this because it is something that comes up in my life quite often and I really wanted to just de-bunk this misunderstanding. Money does not define me and it should not be viewed with little value. I hope you like this short episode!

   Social Media

   In this episode, I talk about how I have viewed social media for myself. Despite its negative connotations that it has acquired, social media for me has been nothing but a form of creative expression and a display of motivation for myself. However, I am aware that everyone uses social media differently; hence, everyone's personal discretion to social media will also differ. With that being said, that does not mean that just because someone has a negative feeling with social media, everyone should feel the same. Everyone uses their platforms differently and respect amongst each purpose should be upheld :) Hope you enjoy today's episode!

   Younger Generations..WTF

   In this episode, I rant about the behaviour I have observed regarding the people in the younger generations. Obviously, every generation has their issues; however, from what I have noticed over the years, younger generations (kids aged 16, 17, 18, turning 19 of this year..) have been significantly more problematic. The way that they act in the society is sometimes disgusting to me and it really shows how spoon-fed they have been and the lack fo respect, consideration, and value they have obtained. I also want to say that I have met some kids in the younger generations who are absolutely phenomenal, so I am not talking about them ;) but for the rest of them, I literally question their intentions and how they're gonna be able to survive in the real world because sweetie, your bubble for you and your similar friends, IS NOT IT.     Foodies

    In this episode, I talk about ALL THINGS FOOD! I literally didn't follow any logical sequence but I did have a few things I had to rant about regarding food so I hope you're able to somewhat follow along LOL. Food has always been a love for me. Growing up, I've experienced many different phases of relationships with food. Many of the mini stories that I rant about in this episode stem from a deeper part of me which oddly enough, has impacted how I see the world, people, and most importantly the appreciation for food that I have.     Doormat Friendships

    In this episode, I rant about how many people in my life have taken advantage of my friendship with them to pursue their own personal agendas. These "doormat friendships" have always made me feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and to be quite honest, a little worthless. To this day, I still have some people in my life who continue to hang out with me only to "check off" their personal to-do-list and to say that they have hung out with me. I made this episode to share my personal experiences with people like this to not only demonstrate the lack of respect I have received in a friendship but to also show you where my values align. If you have had any type of interaction with any of the types of people I have described in this episode, I am sorry that you have had/have to deal with that. If you are someone who IS like anyone that I described in this episode, I suggest checking in with yourself and putting yourself in a situation that doesn't benefit you :) Hope you liked today's episode!

    Car Culture

    In today's episode, I HAVE A SPECIAL GUEST! My boyfriend Vince is extremely passionate about the car culture. I don't think I know anyone else who is as invested as he is and who has a more in-depth knowledge regarding cars, the automotive industry, and the culture behind it. More specifically, my knowledge of cars has derived heavily from learning from Vince and his passions as a car-lover, car enthusiast, and an automotive business-owner. If you aren't too educated on cars, I am sure you can still relate to the things we have talked about in this episode ;) but if you are a car enthusiast yourself, l hope you laughed with us because I’m sure you’ve experienced some of these things hehe, hope you all enjoy today's episode!     Passion For Fashion

    In this episode, I talk about my passion for fashion, clothes, and styling! Despite that I did grill a few people (sorry not sorry if you're one of them lol), fashion is something that everyone has. Even if you think you don't have a style, you do!     Different Perspectives

    In this episode, I talk about how I have been dealing with and experiencing the effects of COVID and the governmental decisions that have followed afterwards. I want to make it clear that my feelings are my OWN and PERSONAL judgements that I have made throughout the experiences that I have went through with miss corona. By no means I am talking on behalf of anyone else and how they might feel about the pandemic. However, I am not going to apologize for feelings this way as this is how I have been perceiving the pandemic. I hope you all can rant with me and understand my perceptions as I would do the same for anyone else. Putting yourself out of your comfort zone to understand another person's experience is another form of learning, and to me, another way for you to evaluate yourself and your own surroundings. So, I hope you enjoy this rant about miss corona! We're all in this together hunnies so might as well see it from different point of viewsssss ;)

    Where to?

    In this episode, I go into DEPTH about travelling! Despite that this topic is on the lighter side, I obviously managed to get into a little bit deeper than just a plain overview of 'travelling.'     Welcome to Ok I Need to Rant

    I am so excited to finally say I have my own podcast! In this episode, I answer a few questions/assumptions that my followers on Instagram asked me as a little introduction to who I am!
