Shooting Your Shot
<p>In this episode, I talk about the idea of people shooting their shot and why I have a problem with how people respond to it. In all honesty, I think that too many people have politicized the idea of someone trying to compliment someone else in person. Obviously, the society has exposed the dangers and the misfortunes that have happened with literal psychotic and sociopathic people who have gone too far; however, I have never seen the problem with someone who takes time of their day to compliment you in person and then leaves you alone afterwards. No matter what, you will be uncomfortable but it is important to know which type of uncomfortableness you're dealing with when it comes to a situation like that. I think it is very odd that we have to denormalize the idea of someone trying to compliment/flirt with you in person when that's how in-person interactions started. </p> <p>I hope you enjoy today's episode! </p>

"Do something that makes you happy"
<p>In this episode, I talk about the issue with the mentality behind "do something that makes you happy" in accordance with a social situation I was put in where I had to justify why I wanted to pursue a career in the field of law. To be completely honest and real with you, that social interaction I had with them about my future goals and career field, made me feel extremely dumb-founded. I don't understand why there is this stigma about how WANTING a 9-5 job experience means that you won't be happy - because I can attest to that statement, that I assure you I will be just fine.
