- I think smoking should be totally banned in the office.
- Achieving that means following formal procedures, like collecting signatures for a petition.
There is an international ban on nuclear testing.
Ann, I banned you from meeting that man, didn't I?
Achieving that means~的mean是「意味著~」的意思， 換句話說，「Ameans B」的句型意思是「A意味著B」:
Being fired now means I'll lose my house.
Not being able to paint meant death to him.
That means you can't help me.

- Jim, can I ask a big favor of you?
- Sure. What can I do for you?
- My car broke down. I'd appreciate it if you could give me a ride home.
- No problem. Hop in!
Can I ask~?(我可以請你~?)
The dish broke into pieces.
I broke up with my boyfriend.
I broke away from the gang.

- What's the price range for model BT30?
- The market price is 3 million 700 thousand dollars, but we could arrange a generous discount.
What's the price range~?
