Berryland: Russerne bombede alt
Vitalii Karvyha var knap nok nået til konference i Polen, da han så en masse ubesvarede opkald: Rusland havde invaderet hans hjemland, Ukraine. Men ikke nok med det blev hans cider-farm i Makarisvska Buda bombet af russerne. Da Øl-Eventyret møder ham på en BeerWalk i forbindelse med MBCC i maj måned 2022, har han ikke været tilbage i Ukraine.

Pleasanti Street: Min toværelses er mit bryggeri
Patrick Schou har på kort tid skabt sig et navn i den internationale øl-verden som en mand, man skal holde øje med. Hans hjemmebryg - der går under navnet Pleasanti Street - bliver skabt i køkkennet i en toværelses lejlighed i Vanløse. En Mikkeller-konkurrence for håndbryggere sendte ham på MBCC i 2023, hvor hans øl placerede sig i feltet blandt de bedst ratede øl og nogle af de mest anerkendte bryggerier i verden.
