Old People Rock is about staying young and learning from those who are still doing amazing things, having fun and kicking ass.
What makes music more than a sequence of notes?
For composer and pianist Giovanni Marradi, it's the person behind the performance. In this conversation, Giovanni talks about finding his own musical voice, learning from his hero Roger Williams, performing for audiences in China, and encouraging young musicians to play without fear.
His message is simple: music isn't a competition. It's something to share.
And as Giovanni puts it, the goal isn't to become someone else. It's to become yourself.

Margie Seaman – Keep Going. Keep Learning. Keep Being Curious.
Margie Seaman has spent her life learning how things work. She built a career in marketing, taught herself the technology behind modern websites, became a web designer and SEO specialist, explored Texas as the "Graytripper," and finally started writing the books she'd been thinking about since childhood – at 84.
Her stories even took her into time travel and scientific theory. Now she's working on a techno-thriller with AI as one of the characters.
But the real story isn't about any one of those things.
It's about curiosity – and what happens when you refuse to believe you're too old to learn something new.

Jules & Effin Older – Two Lives. One Very Interesting Adventure.
Jules & Effin Older have never been especially interested in living just one life. Together, they've been writers, travelers, broadcasters and collaborators – but each also followed some wonderfully unexpected paths of their own. Effin became a television host in New Zealand, including co-hosting The Renovators, while Jules taught medical students, hosted a rock-and-roll radio show and even played a television villain.
They've written books, traveled the world, moved between the United States and New Zealand, raised a family and continued finding new things to do together.
In this Old People Rock conversation, Jules and Effin talk about the adventures, choices and surprises that have made their lives anything but predictable.
And yes, there is a book called Death by Tartar Sauce.
