Ontario politics without the talking points. On the Ledge — Your Ontario Politics Podcast was launched as a daily podcast during the 2018 Ontario election campaign by veteran broadcaster Dave Trafford and public opinion researcher and political strategist John Wright. Former Canadian Press Queen's Park Bureau Chief, Keith Leslie joined the cast when Doug Ford was sworn in as Premier of Ontario in June of 2018. […] So when you want to make sure when you're both running for mayor or you're running for premier, you want to try to save some people time and effort when they're stuck in traffic. You want to fight crime. You want to get more homes built. You can find those types of alignment. So as long as those issues remain similar to the provincial municipal, you'll have your ups and downs, your squabbles. But I still think they'll work in the same direction no matter who the mayor is. So, yeah, it's easy to kind of draw those lines when we're talking about various different political stripes at City Hall.
