A weekly podcast where film critics Manuel São Bento and Ren Vieira revisit every installment of major movie franchises. From iconic blockbusters to hidden gems, each episode dives deep into one title, blending critical insight with passionate, friendly banter. Join us on a cinematic journey through the franchises that shaped pop culture - one film (or show) at a time.
The God of Thunder is back for a fourth solo adventure, and this time, love is in the air... along with screaming goats, shadow monsters, and a very jealous axe! Join Manel and Ren as they dive into the divisive Thor: Love and Thunder, Taika Waititi's follow-up, featuring Natalie Portman's return and Christian Bale's chilling villain turn. Does the film's mix of cancer, grief, and dead children with a clearly silly tone hold up on a rewatch? Is Gorr one of the MCU's best villains? Does the film's mockery of the gods go too far? And did Thor actually grow at all? Lots to debate!
