Heaven Is Real. So Is Hell.

If Heaven is real, and hell is real, what does that mean for the way we live today? Few subjects carry as much eternal significance as what happens after death. Yet for many people, conversations about Heaven, hell, judgment, and salvation can be uncomfortable or confusing. In this thought-provoking message, "Heaven Is Real. So Is Hell.", Pastor Ken Senchal examines what Jesus taught about eternity and reveals why understanding the reality of Heaven and hell should change not only what we believe, but how we love and reach the people around us. Jesus warned about hell, but He also revealed the extraordinary heart of God: a Father who desires people to repent, experience salvation, and receive eternal life through Christ. God's patience isn't indifference. It's mercy. Through the powerful parables of Luke 15, Pastor Ken explores the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. Each story reveals God's relentless concern for people who are far from Him. A shepherd searches for ONE lost sheep. A woman searches for ONE lost coin. A father celebrates the return of ONE lost son. The message is unmistakable: ONE person matters to God. This truth is at the very heart of OneChurch's vision: Changing the world ONE person at a time. But understanding God's heart is only the beginning. As followers of Jesus, we are called to participate in His mission. We've been equipped to grow in faith, build healthy relationships, serve others, and become disciples. Now it's time to intentionally help others experience the same transformation. Pastor Ken introduces The Challenge of 3, a practical invitation for every believer to make an eternal difference: INVITE ONE: Develop a lifestyle of invitation. You never know how a simple invitation to church could become someone's introduction to Jesus. TELL ONE: Learn to share your faith. Your testimony doesn't have to be dramatic to be powerful. God can use your story to reveal His goodness to someone else. DISCIPLE ONE: Go beyond the invitation. Build relationships, pray for people, encourage spiritual growth, and help someone become a committed follower of Jesus. This message is both a reminder of eternity and a challenge to live with greater purpose today. You don't have to be a preacher to be a witness. You don't have to know every answer to share the hope you've found. And you don't have to reach everyone. Start with ONE. Whether you've been following Jesus for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or are wondering what Scripture teaches about life after death, this episode offers biblical truth, encouragement, and a meaningful next step. Hope Has a Home

If Heaven is really our future, shouldn't it change the way we live today? When Jesus spoke to His disciples in John 14, their world felt like it was falling apart. Jesus was leaving. Judas would betray Him. Peter would deny Him. Yet Jesus told them, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me." His answer to their troubled hearts was faith—and a reminder of their eternal home. This Isn't the End In this message, Pastor Ken Senchal explores what happens when we stop living as though this temporary world is all there is and begin viewing our lives through the reality of eternity. If Heaven is our future, we should: Live like there is more. The things we see are temporary, but the things we cannot see are eternal. Live here as if we belong there. Scripture tells us that our citizenship is in Heaven. That means eternity should shape our priorities, relationships, generosity and choices. This Isn't the End Live to bring somebody with us. If Jesus has changed your life, one of the most loving things you can do is help someone else know Him. You don't need every theological answer. You don't need a platform. Sometimes sharing Jesus begins with something as simple as: "Let me tell you what Jesus has done in me." As you listen, consider one important question: Who is your ONE? At OneChurch, we believe one person matters to God—and we're committed to Changing the World ONE Person at a Time. What Kind Of Home are You Building?

🏠 Every home is being built on something. The question isn't whether you're creating a culture in your home—you already are. The question is: WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING THAT CULTURE UPON? In the conclusion of The Real You Lives at Home, Pastor Ken Senchal takes us to Jesus' words in Matthew 7:24–27 and the story of two builders. One built his house on rock. The other built on sand. The storms came to BOTH houses. Jesus never promised that following Him would make our families storm-proof. Families still encounter sickness, financial pressure, conflict, disappointment, parenting challenges, grief and transition. Instead, Jesus shows us how to build a life capable of STANDING THROUGH THE STORM. And that requires more than simply hearing His words. We have to LIVE them. Pastor Ken explores the difference between knowing about Jesus and actually allowing His teaching to shape the culture of our homes. Bible knowledge isn't enough. Sermon notes aren't enough. Simply identifying ourselves as Christians isn't enough. Jesus becomes our foundation when His words become our WAY OF LIFE. Through Deuteronomy 6, Pastor Ken then gives families practical ways to build Jesus into the everyday rhythm of the home through prayer, Scripture, conversations, discipleship and intentionally bringing Jesus into daily life. It's not about making faith forced or awkward. It's about making following Jesus NORMAL. We don't just want homes that LOOK Christian. We want homes that are actually being SHAPED BY CHRIST. 🎧 Listen now and ask yourself: WHAT KIND OF HOME AM I BUILDING? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CONNECT WITH ONE CHURCH Learn more, get connected and discover your next step at: youronechurch.com ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SHARE THIS EPISODE If this message encouraged or challenged you, share it with a friend, spouse, parent or family who could benefit from it.
