<p>My website, CollaredConsulting.com, has as much information about me </p> <p>Joseph is a former securities lawyer in Ontario and the first and still only Canadian to receive a criminal conviction for insider trading. After being identified, Joseph cooperated with authorities in Canada and the US to absolve many innocent professionals inadvertently swept up in his criminal endeavor, admitted guilt, and began his 39-month prison sentence that included stays in two notorious maximum security prisons. His partner-in-crime and best friend, however, never made it to sentencing, tragically jumping off a bridge to his death a day before he was scheduled to fly with Joseph to New York to learn his fate. Joseph's dramatic story is featured in the educational crime-prevention documentary, "Collared" and used as part of his talks to student groups, professional bodies, and corporations around the world.</p> <p>Joseph currently works in the field of Restorative Justice as the founding Program Director for the registered charity Restorative Justice Housing Ontario. The charity provides safe housing to long-term ex-prisoners who are committed to reform and need the foundation of stable housing to begin their long and difficult path back to rebuilding their lives and becoming productive and positive members of society</p>
