While Africa has contributed the least to historical greenhouse gas emissions, the numerous impacts of climate change are threatening its agriculture, water resources, and food security. In response to this challenge, the One Planet Fellowship program brings together an intergenerational network of African and European researchers committed to finding sustainable solutions to combat climate change and safeguard our food and environmental security. This program is led by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) and Agropolis Fondation, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the BNP Paribas Foundation, the European Union, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
