We want to create a church that unchurched and dechurched people loved to attend. A place where people can ask questions about faith and take a second look at God. We believe that just like Jesus, the local church should be irresistible. We want to see our friends and neighbors connect or reconnect with God.
You know how to give. Everyone gives something somewhere. We define our generosity by our random acts of goodness. But generosity is more than that. Generosity is the premeditated, calculated, designated emancipation of personal financial assets. When you become generous, you give more, save more, and consume less. It can free you from the Great American Insanity Cycle of spending more than we make, accumulating debt, having no financial margin, worrying about money, and spending money we don’t have in order to distract ourselves from worry.
THE BIG IDEA: Think and behave like a giver rather than a consumer. You’ll give more, consume less, and have more left over.

You Just Think You Are
Everyone gives something somewhere. But that masks the fact that most of us aren’t generous. That sounds counterintuitive, but there’s a difference between random acts of giving and true generosity. The good news is, it’s possible to learn how to be generous.
THE BIG IDEA: Everybody gives. Not everybody is generous. Generosity must be taught.

The Prophets
The prophets can be some of the least-read and least-understood books in the Bible. They can feel strange,
intense, uncomfortable, and hard to understand. But the prophets were not just men who predicted the
future. They were men who refused to edit the truth. They spoke for God during seasons when God’s
people were drifting, compromising, ignoring truth, and refusing to repent. Their messages were often
hard, but their purpose was not to push people away from God. Their purpose was to call people back to
God. The prophets remind us that God does not stay silent when His people drift. His warnings are not
proof that He is done with us. His warnings prove He loves us enough to come after us.
