That's what my friend Marco Houwen said to me near the end of our conversation. And it's the thread underneath everything we talked about.

We Are Not Cognitive Animals
"Who the hell are we now as humans?"
That's what my friend Marco asked me, somewhere in the middle of our conversation. 25 years in technology. Sold everything in 2017. Now spending his life on one question that he believes every leader and every human needs to ask.
This is a two-part conversation. In part one, we sit in the bigger picture. What AI is actually asking of us as humans. Why the questions we're not asking matter more than the ones we are. And why Marco thinks our cognitive intelligence being commoditized might be an invitation, not a threat.

Two Years Without a Website
"My business can only be as successful as I am."
That's what Fabienne said to me, somewhere in the middle of our conversation. Eighteen years in corporate. Four years building a coaching practice. Two of those years without a website.
This is the story of how she got here, and what she learned along the way.
