Dømt til Ild og Bål
<p>Ingeborg Knutsdatter Økset ble i 1625 dømt til å brenne på bålet for trolldom og hekseri. Hun var ikke alene. På 1600 tallet pågikk det heksejakt og trolldomsprosesser over hele Norge og i Europa forøvrig. Tidsvitner - Dagbok fra Slakterikjelleren
<p>Torstein Sandnæs var sersjant under invasjonsdagene. Han var også en av de få som overlevde bombenedslaget i Elverum Slakteri 11. april 1940. <p>Rolf Henrik Rasch var 20 år da krigen kom til Elverum. Etter bomberegnet dro han til sentrum for å lete etter faren sin.
