<p>Choose your epic meaning & operationalize your virtues. Amor Fati is a latin phrase which is translated to "love of one's destiny". Love your epic challenges in the story of your life & actualize your epic meaning. Swallow your metaphorical demons to gain their strength.</p> <h3>Obstacles = Assets<br> </h3> <blockquote>That which doesn't kill me makes me stronger<br> </blockquote> <p>Got an obstacle? Assess your strengths with VIA institute & turn your strengths into actions to overcome the obstacle.</p> <p>Cultivate willpower to overcome all obstacles on a regular basis. Become anti-fragile. Separate <strong>reliable perceptions of willpower </strong>from <strong>deceptive perceptions of willpower. </strong>Willpower is about surrender, not strength.</p> <p><strong>True willpower</strong> is quiet humility, resilience and flexibility. It is about surrender, not strength. False willpower is bluster & ambition which is a weakness in disguise.</p> <h3>You can always choose a more optimal response (even if you haven't in the past)<br> </h3> <p>Prepare for adversity and turmoil & step forward into growth (instead of back into safety). When facing something outside of your comfort zone, don't indulge your lower self by caving into fear. Instead transmute that fear into excitement.</p> <p>Filter prejudice + expectation. Had difficulties in the past? Shift your perception of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) into <strong>PTSG (Post Traumatic Stress Growth)</strong>.</p> <p>The enemy is any perception that prevents you from doing this.
