Original Montana Film Guide (OMFG) explores movies made in or inspired by the Big Sky State. From Hollywood epics to indie gems, we dive into the stories, landscapes, and creative spirit that make Montana a cinematic frontier. Hosted by local artists and film lovers, OMFG celebrates the wild mix of artistry, humor, and Montana weirdness that runs through every reel.
Have you guys goofed around with those Dungeon Crawler Carl books? It's like wandering through a video game, except it's all in your head, and there's a kitty named Princess Donut.
Slaughter Rule is the opposite of that. Grounded, emotional, and nobody's wearing undersized pink Crocs, if you know what I mean.
This time, the OMFG crew takes you into the bleak heart of a Montana winter, where love, tenderness, and a touch of violence collide.
Join us once again as we roam the heavens together like Fenrir the Wolf.

Passenger (2026) - Review
I like legends.
Actually, I think I like stories with long tails.
In my need to be authentic, I’ve tried hard to whittle as much bullsh!t out of my system as possible. But if I’m telling you a story? Take it with a grain of salt. The fish is always a little bigger. Everything gets exaggerated.
And you know what? I think that’s okay.
If you do it to me, even better. We’re all stuck together on this godforsaken mudball, so let’s have some f*cking fun while we’re here.
BTW, did you all check out Digger? I hear it’s quite polarizing.
Anywho…
Passenger — a tale about #vanlife. A story that, if it were true, nobody would believe.
And guess what? The movie is a piece of sh!t.
Duped by the trailer, Josh and Larkin travel down the highways and dirt roads of low-to-middling horror.
A little note about movies: I don’t need them to make sense. I’m totally comfortable in that world. But the sh!t needs to be mesmerizing, or strange, or at least make me uncomfortable. Give me something.
So pull up a chair and listen to our ramblings.
Courtney B. is there as a drawing onlooker, casually dropping doozies as usual.

Letter Never Sent (1960) - Review
A movie not made to be seen on Xmas, but for posterity in the moment, man. ART, my sweet lover.
On the screen, filled with smoke and fire and tearing us apart: A Letter Never Sent. A Courtney Blaze of a choice that burns the OMFG crew’s eyes.
Blurry and blitzed, we climb through it, confronting fear, Soviet belief systems, love triangles, and the general nightmare of trying to survive while everything is on fire.
Join us, and don’t fear the journey. We have an interpreter: Daniel Mrgan. A scribe/historian: Courtney Blazon. A moral compass: Larkin Mattoon. And Josh — he can carry heavy things, like sleeping bags and firewood.
And remember: love is a circle unless you’re in a triangle.
Trench foot abounds. A spectacle for you to sink your teeth into.
