Episode 4 - She Can Do Both

Recently at Saint Catherine Academy in Belize City a series of workshops were held with the intention of equipping the young women of Belize with the skills necessary to thrive in everyday life after school is completed. SCA prides itself on being a center of Excellence and Innovation and as such the school has pioneered teaching young women with high academic standards; and now these same young women have hands-on, practical tools in many situations that were typically male fields. A day will soon come when a graduate of SCA will no longer be a 'damsel in distress'. Yes, young men, get you a girl that can do both.

Episode 3 - Wavemakers to the Rescue

In this episode students from SCA's Wavemakers club are interviewed about a recent beach clean-up that was conducted to save the breeding habitats of some turtles on the island of San Pedro. Wavemakers is an environmental club that strives to promote good practices that will ensure the survival of all animal and plant species on planet Earth. The club was founded by Zazie Mckenzie, a former student of SCA, when she was a 2nd form student (sophomore). The club has grown and is thriving to the point where the beach clean-ups and other undertakings of the sort are an annual activity.
