THE STORY SO FAR:
When High Priestess Nienna's ceremonial fleet is ambushed by an ancient enemy, her last surviving Warden witnesses a desperate sacrifice that rewrites the timeline itself. Meanwhile, the sentient starship Orriona—after centuries of exile—receives her old friend's distress call and races to mount a rescue.
But she can't do it alone.
Her search for a crew leads to Edgepoint Station, a decaying frontier outpost where misfits become family: a disgraced pilot searching for his father's ghost ship, a con artist with dangerous skills and buried secrets, a theatrical medic duo fleeing their past, an engineer haunted by what she's lost, and the last Warden of a murdered High Priestess.
Together, they'll chase stolen artifacts across the galaxy, uncover conspiracies that threaten the foundations of civilization, and discover that the strongest shields aren't made of technology—they're built from trust, loyalty, and love.

The medical bay is ready.
Bio-beds glow, trauma pods hum on standby, and every system has been triple-checked for survivors who may never come. Rian has prepared for every injury he can imagine.
The data on his screens tells a different story.
Axrathan vessels carry a record of every life aboard, a Manifest of Souls. With each scan from the SAR drones, another name changes from missing to confirmed deceased. The percentages climb, and so does the weight in his chest. This was meant to be a rescue. It's starting to look like a recovery.
Then Nix sends over something that doesn't add up. A fallen mercenary. Technology that shouldn't exist in the hands of the people who carried it. And a wound that tells a story Rian doesn't like at all.
He has spent his life trying to heal minds. Whatever was done to this one has him fighting back nausea.
Somewhere in the static of the failing ship, something is still waiting to be found.

S01E24 · Manifest of Souls · Part One (Val)
Val runs her gloved hand along the corridor wall, searching for the pulse that should be there. Axrathan bio-metal is supposed to respond to touch, shifting in warmth and texture as if the ship itself knows she's there.
Beneath her fingers, there is nothing. Cold, inert alloy.
A living thing that has been murdered.
Gravity stutters from one section to the next. Patches of life support hum on with no logic to them. Jotter drifts at her side, his ancient scanners working overtime, and the readouts confirm what her gut already knows. This isn't ordinary battle damage. It's something that shouldn't be possible.
Six Search and Rescue drones sweep deeper into the derelict, mapping a vessel that was built to outlast almost anything. Back aboard the Orriona, the crew waits on every update. Val watches the feeds come in, and the longer she looks, the more the ship feels like a place no outsider was ever meant to see.
Her engineer's eye starts catching details that don't fit. Small things. Things that make her skin crawl.
Someone did this on purpose. And they came prepared.

The Orriona drops out of FTL, and space reassembles itself around Kai in streams of starlight. His stomach lurches. He's never gotten used to the moment faster-than-light lets go.
What waits on the other side is nothing the briefings could have prepared them for. A fleet that once sailed in ceremonial formation now hangs motionless in the dark, hundreds of vessels strong and utterly silent. Kellan threads the ship deeper. Orriona runs her sensor sweep.
Kai has no ties to the Axrathans, no loyalty to their ways. But he knows loss when he sees it.
Beyond the wreckage, an asteroid field drifts at the edge of the graveyard, dark shapes that stir something he buried a long time ago. He was a kid who could read a face, pick a mark out of a crowd, and steal a meal without getting caught. He couldn't read the sky.
Someone else could.
Some warnings follow you across the stars. And as the Orriona edges toward the heart of the fleet, Kai can't shake the feeling that the worst of it is still waiting.
