Средний танк Т-34-57
В ноябре 1941 года на вооружение Красной Армии поступил средний танк Т-34-57. От базового он отличался установленным на нем противотанковым орудием большой мощности ЗИС-4 калибра 57-мм. Выпускался танк малой серией. В битве под Москвой приняло участие 60 танков Т-34-57. Эта боевая машина сыграла большую роль во время контрнаступления в декабре 1941.

Противотанковое ружье системы конструктора Василия Дегтярева
29 июля 1941 года на вооружение Красной Армии поступило ПТРД - противотанковое ружье системы конструктора Василия Дегтярева. В нем применялся уникальный патрон калибра 14,5 мм. Его используют и по сей день. Основной целью ПТРД было уничтожение немецких легких и средних танков на дистанции до 500 метров. Но известно, что из противотанкового оружия Дегтярева вели огонь и по самолетам противника, даже умудрялись их сбивать. Первые 300 ружей по указанию Георгия Жукова отправились на оборонительные рубежи на волоколамском направлении к северо-западу от Москвы.
