Saurubh and Barbi are excited to release this episode of the podcast, with none other than the ‘queen of common sense’ herself, Maggie Dent. After we took a moment to let it sink in that we were chatting with Maggie, we dived right in to everything children and the place educators play in children’s worlds. We go on a rollercoaster ride of first acknowledging the important role of educators in OSHC, how we must be in atonement to what the children need, circle to the importance of knowing how to redirect our own cortisol, being aware of ‘body budgets’ in children and even neuroplasticity!
