This Sunday, Pastor Greg continues the Paraclete series with “Discovering
the Gifts He Gives Us (Part 1),” the first message in a multipart teaching
on the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 12, we discover
that spiritual gifts are supernatural abilities freely given by God to
equip believers for His work. These gifts are not limited to a select few,
earned through spiritual maturity, or something we should fear. Rather,
they are expressions of God’s grace, distributed according to His will to
strengthen and unify the body of Christ. From wisdom, knowledge, faith, and
healing to serving, teaching, encouragement, and leadership, the Holy
Spirit equips His people with everything needed to accomplish His purposes.
As we begin this journey of discovering spiritual gifts, we are reminded
that every believer has a place and a purpose in God's Kingdom. The
invitation is to recognize what God has given us, embrace the work of the
Holy Spirit, and faithfully use His gifts to serve others and glorify Him.

This Sunday, Pastor Ben Fitzgerald shares a message about the church as a
spiritual family—one where believers stay devoted, strengthen one another,
serve actively, and guard against drifting into isolation or
complacency. From the beginning, the church was designed to be a family
devoted to God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, serving one another, and
gathering around the table. Like coals in a fire, we strengthen one another
when we stay close, but isolation can slowly cause our spiritual fire to
grow cold.

This Sunday, Pastor Greg continues the Paraclete series with a message
titled “He Gives Power” from Acts 1:1–9. Jesus promised that the Holy
Spirit would give His followers power—not merely as an idea, but as an
active ability at work within them. That same promise is for believers
today. Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to witness, strengthened
in our weakness, filled with hope, given boldness in the face of fear, and
equipped to live a Spirit-filled life that reflects the fullness of God.
The Christian life was never meant to be lived in our own strength. As we
surrender more fully to the Holy Spirit, His power becomes increasingly
evident in and through us, allowing others to see God at work in our lives.
