Karl Haushofer: geopolityka i samobójstwo
<p>Mastermind nazistowskiego planu ekspansji, demon geopolityki, sufler Adolfa Hitlera. Choć słowa te brzmią przesadnie, Karl Haushofer dał ku nim powody. Zaskakujące: to człowiekiem wielu talentów, właściwości i kontrowersyjnych dokonań, lecz ciągle mało znany.</p> <p>Szukając odpowiedzi, kim właściwie był, warto zwrócić uwagę na jego towarzyski krąg. Ważną rolę – przyjaciela, powiernika i gwaranta bezpieczeństwa – pełnił w otoczeniu Haushofera Rudi, czyli Rudolf Hess. W czasie studiów Hess uczestniczył w zajęciach profesora. Był ulubionym studentem i pośrednikiem w kontaktach z kierownictwem NSDAP.
