Savko is an entrepreneur, activist and writer. Born in Austria and raised in the USA and Belarus, he gives us a deep dive into growing up between several worlds and finding a home - and yourself - in the midst of it all. <p>In Folge 5 ist Masha zu Besuch. Wir haben uns im Frühjahr 2021 online kennengelernt bei einem Workshop und waren seitdem regelmäßig in Kontakt. Eigentlich wollten wir uns schon Ende Februar diesen Jahres zur Aufnahme einer Episode treffen, doch dann marschierten russische Truppen in die Ukraine ein, erweiterten somit den Krieg und haben das Leben aller Bewohner*innen und Beteiligten verändert. So auch das Leben von Masha, deren Familie aus der Ukraine kommt und der Großteil davon immer noch dort lebt. Als Teil von Vitsche, einer Organisation von Ukrainer*innen in Berlin, steht sie im Austausch mit Betroffenen vor Ort, Geflüchteten in Deutschland und sorgt für einen andauernden Informationsfluss bezüglich des Krieges auf digitaler Ebene. Im Gespräch erzählt Masha von ihrem derzeitigen Alltag als Aktivistin, dem Aufwachsen in Ostdeutschland als Mensch mit Migrationshintergrund und wie die Selbstverständlichkeit der eigenen Queerness auch zu blinden Flecken führen kann. <p>In Folge 4 ist Denis zu Gast. Er gehört zu meinen engsten Kreis in Berlin. Wortwörtlich: wir wohnen sogar im selben Haus! 🏠</p> <p>Denis ist vor sieben Jahren aus Russland nach Deutschland ausgewandert, hauptsächlich für sein Masterstudium, nachdem er mehrere Monate als Student schon hierzulande gejobbt hat. Postost hat für ihn dementsprechend nochmal eine ganz andere Bedeutung. 👀</p> <p>Denis erzählt mir von seinen Aufwachsen im russischen Irkutsk Gebiet, wo er schon zu Schulzeiten sein Interesse an Jungs entdeckte und wie ihn das Sprachstudium in Jekaterinburg schließlich nach Deutschland brachte - ins Baden-Württembergische Konstanz.</p> <p>Außerdem nähern wir uns der derzeitigen politischen Situation in Russland an, Denis erinnert sich an die wilden (und queeren) 90er Jahre des Landes und sichere Heimwege nach dem Feiern in Jekaterinburg mit LGBTQ-Taxis 🚕🏳️🌈</p> <p>Denis a.k.a.
