Want to know what I would tell a student who has just finished fieldwork? Today I’m sharing 5 things that I would tell my fieldwork student who just finished their placement with my private practice. I only wished that I had heard this as a student or a new grad just entering the field of occupational therapy. If you’re a student, listen up. If you’re a practitioner who takes students, listen up too!

Do you engage in negative self talk? Guess what, I do and I feel like I’ve gotten pretty negative with the negative self talk. And to be honest with you I was just called out for it and I have been thinking about it ever since. And of course I’ve found lots of occupational ties and insights with all this thinking about self talk.
