Der Arzt studierte Medizin im Iran und an der Universitäts-Klinik in Tübingen in Baden-Württemberg. In der Folge falscher Anschuldigungen in Deutschland wurde das Leben des Arztes schwer geschädigt und der Mediziner wurde vom Verfassungsschutz beobachtet. Dr. Afshin Seresti klagte mit Erfolg gegen den Verfassungsschutz in Hessen vor Gericht.
