Divine Feminine, Spiritual Growth & A Metaphysical Salad Recipe
In this episode of OtherWise with Jane Harvey, Jane shares highlights from her conversation with the incredible Ruah Bull, a spiritual director with insights on the divine, the mysteries of spiritual development, and embracing the beauty beyond organized religion. Together, we explored Ruah’s journey from Irish Catholic roots to a spirituality enriched by Zen Buddhism, Native American rituals, and shamanism, as well as her thoughts on the divine feminine. Jane also shares an incredible metaphysical experience from her time living in New York, and dives into the nature of spiritual growth. Plus, the salad recipe that induced her metaphysical experience is below! Try it and see what happens… Metaphysical Salad Recipe: Everything is to your preference in terms of amount, ingredients are as follow: Raisins Shredded carrot Shredded beets Sardines Avocado Pumpkin seeds Mixed greens Cherry tomatoes (chopped in half or whole, your preference) Olive oil Balsamic vinegar Jane’s Krazy Mixed Up Sea Salt Cracked pepper Also, to address “thin spaces” — the term is actually “thin places” and is a Celtic Christian term that refers to locations where the boundary between the physical and the spiritual world is thought to be particularly thin. Reflecting on Authenticity, Spirituality, and Art | Insights from My Conversation with Tyler Crabb In this reflection video, I dive back into my conversation with abstract painter Tyler Crabb. Talking with Tyler sparked thoughts on what it means to truly be ourselves, especially in a world where we’re so often on display. Reflections from Devon Phillips Interview
In this episode I reflect on my jaw-droppingly cool conversation with Devon Phillips, and in particular express my sincere admiration for his open-minded approach to psychedelics. I also talk about my own views of psychedelics, their uses, where and when to use caution, and ways I hope the world can move forward in the areas of medicine. Reflections from Leah Gooch Interview
In this episode I download the potent conversation I had with clairvoyant coach and reiki teacher Leah Gooch. I talk about my appreciation for her ability to harness energy and shift it, share insights into my own metaphysical experiences and open up about how those experiences became challenging for me when my brother was diagnosed with schizo-effective disorder, and how I was able to return to my appreciation for clairvoyant and noetic capacities. I also talk about the valuable impact of her work in prisons and jails and how she is a part of the movement towards a more restorative-justice-based penal system.
