Ancestral Elevation
Ancestral elevation is a spiritual practice used to address and repair ancestral pain, patterns, and trauma from a lineage. This practice benefits you as much as it benefits your ancestors. When we perform an elevation ceremony, we commune with our ancestors who have been hurt, lost, or stuck and offer assistance, grace, and ease while witnessing their expansion.
In this episode Shosh talks about some of the healing effects they have seen in their own experiences of performing ancestral elevation rites and rituals. Shosh also discusses where this practice and lineage comes from, and how it can help in spiritual decolonization work.
