About Otome Shimai

Two sisters who have been playing Otome games, both individually and together, for 15+ years. We're always discussing the games we're playing and different Otoge related subjects anyways, so we decided to turn it into a podcast! Disclaimer: None of the games or characters we are discussing belong to us. Please don’t sue us.

Episode 47: Otome Superfight - Piofiore MASSACRE

Send us Fan Mail We’re taking another game break, which means it’s time for some pure, unadulterated nonsense! Vki and Vka are back with another round of Otome Superfight, but this time, we’re doing things a little differently. Send us Fan Mail It's time for another go at ranking the love interests of our favorite otome games and this week we've recruited the wonderful Sami Nash to help us judge the beautiful, tragic men of Virche Evermore -ErroR: Salvation-! Ranking these LIs is never easy but it's a lot more fun with three sisters in the mix. We spend this episode laughing through the doom and gloom as we debate the truly hard-hitting questions: Who is objectively the most attractive? Who would actually make a fun...

Episode 45: Otome Shimai Vki Side - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Did you know that, other than otome, the sisters have VERY different tastes in video games? We’ve started a new series called “Otome Shimai: Sister Side” where one sister (tries to) explain their favorite games to the other! In this episode we journey into the world of The Elder Scrolls as Vki introduces Skyrim to Via! Expect laughter, confusion, and maybe just a pinch of chaos. We’ll dive into the shallow end of the lore, mechanics, and Vki’s personal experiences (a deep dive would have take...
