<p>The OTR Academy was founded to help new long haul truck drivers overcome career threatening challenges facing most new CDL holders. We’re here to help you get your Over-the-Road career off to a strong promising start.<br><br>CDL STEVE’S BIO:<br>CDL Steve is an active long haul truck driver who has seen dozens of new drivers struggle and leave the trucking industry within that critical first 3-year window. Steve firmly believes those who reach that 3-year anniversary are more likely to enjoy a great career, stable employment, a good income, and perhaps own their own truck/trucking company one day; as they experience the fullness of North America.<br><br>Over-the-Road truck drivers are the lifeblood of North American commerce. Steve’s personal goal is to leverage this podcast to help reduce driver attrition; thereby playing his part in feeding the economic engine powering economy. He believes, through the efforts of the OTR Academy, more well-trained and much-needed commercial drivers will operate big rigs across the North American landscape.
