Mason Tan
<p>After more than 2 decades of working in the profit-driven financial world, Mason decides to pursue purpose-driven work, as he recognizes God as the Creator of the Universe who owns the marketplace. As a follower of Jesus Christ, Mason sees social impact investing as God’s economic empowerment tools to fight poverty economically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually and to promote human flourishing and restorative justice. Mason sees the importance of sharing and applying biblical principles not just on Sundays, but as well as during the rest of the week outside church, especially at the workplace. Mason’s passion is to help vulnerable groups make their dreams come true in a spiritual communion setting through patient impact investing. Besides working as a licensed asset manager who manages Garden Impact Fund out of Singapore, Mason also serves on the Global Board of Directors for Prison Fellowship International which has a presence in more than 120 countries by focusing on restorative justice for the incarcerated, their loved ones, and the victims.
