[…] But as you keep going along that spectrum, what we see on the other end of the spectrum is the neurodegenerative diseases that we worry about or that are concerning. like dementia, Alzheimer's dementia, or Lewy body dementia. In those cases, patients more often have difficulties with the part of their brain that helps them multitask. So following instructions, remembering how to do a recipe, remembering how to drive to a certain location that they used to be able to do, but the tasks that come with driving to that place is much more difficult to retrieve. So it's a whole spectrum and chemo brain kind of falls in the middle of all of this, where there are a lot of options of ways to intervene or to help with it. […]
