Our PNW Music is a podcast in which hosts Rudy Giecek and Kristen Miller Cartwright interview bands and musicians. Some episodes include studio only songs and others are special versions done live on the show.
Listen as these songwriters describe learning to play their instruments, forming their bands and some of the meanings behind the songs they have written.
Our PNW Music mostly interview bands in Skagit and Whatcom counties of Washington State or some bands who are traveling to the venues within the area.
We love Savanna Woods so much that we invited her onto the podcast again .... only this time she brought her friends and took over.
A major theme that weaves throughout Savanna Woods’ world is “community”. Whether it be through her family, friends, church, followers or her musical tribe ..... she’s happiest when surrounded by those she loves. So in November of 2020, Savanna brought some of her musician kinsfolk to meet us at Katt’s Westside Stories in Mount Vernon, WA for another episode of the podcast. On the cajón is Dr Sweets (Andrew Sweeting), on the piano is Andrea Fountain and on the violin is Mandy Weeda. Although Savanna has played numerous times with each one of these musicians, it was the first time all four have played together as a group. We hope you enjoy the music as much as we did.

Cory Vincent Playing Facebook Live During Washington's Stay Home Act
Cory Vincent of Oak Harbor played a Facebook Live show that blew our expectations out of the water.
His setup put out great sound quality, so good that we pulled his songs out of the actual video from Facebook to put on the show. Hope you enjoy his guitar playing and singing as much as we do!
