<p>Hello and welcome to Our Podclass! My name is Ms. Knox and I will be your teacher This podcast is dedicated to all things U.S. History and U.S. Government. I created Our Podclass to share episodes that can be taken into the classroom by real teachers. I want to create resources for students, teachers, and all other adults that want a better understanding of the American experiment. <br>Our Podclass will be centered on teaching accurate and realistic historical information so that EVERYONE can gain an understanding of how history impacts them in the current and modern day. There will be two lessons each month and resources will be posted on Instagram so make sure to follow there!<br>I am a real classroom educator that is passionate about sharing resources that engage all in learning their past. I am passionate about helping teacher prep engaging content for their students. I am passionate about educating everyone on their civic duty and helping them develop their understanding of being a U.S. citizen.<br>It is my hope that our class will learn how to apply historical skills and that we can cultivate a learning space of kindness, understanding, and education. <p>Who were the first non-indigenous to land in the Americas? If not the Spanish, why don't we discuss them more? If the first group was different from the Spanish, why didn't they stay? How do we find information about historical events when there are no written primary sources?
