The Diocese of Youngstown Communications Department continues to record the award-winning Our Sunday Mass in Saint Columba Cathedral, Youngstown, Ohio. The Mass premiers online at 4:00 pm ET Saturdays. Previously called Mass for Shut-ins, this service has been provided for over 40 years as a ministry to those who cannot attend Mass in person to join us in spiritual communion. In addition to recording the Mass from Saint Columba Cathedral, the Diocese of Youngstown provides Missalettes and offline copies to nursing homes, prisons, and homebound individuals by request. Our Sunday Mass is funded by the Mary Catherine Livingston Foundation and the Annual Diocesan Appeal. Streamed with permission under ONE LICENSE #A-700000.<br /><br />As early as 1954, the diocese was broadcasting Sunday Mass on radio with the help of a local AM station.
