Out Late is a show for the late bloomers, late-in-life lesbians, queers and gays. It’s for anyone questioning or beginning to explore a new LGBTQ+ identity and for the allies who are keen to understand more.
With each episode, we bring you a personal story from someone who has been there and done that, riding the ups and downs of exploring a new identity or sexuality later in life.

Episode 2 Miriam Grace
Like many cis women, Miriam found the hormonal changesduring perimenopause life-changing. It was in her late 40s whilst going throughthese changes that she realised she liked women.
As a psychotherapist, she now works mainly with women inmid-life going through transitions, and is due to publish a guidebook for latebloomers.

After coming out during the lockdown period of 2020/21, Gayleseparated from her husband and is now in the early stages of building a newlife in a new home.

Jack is a trans man in his late 40s, who by his own admission, has been through the whole LGBTQ+ rainbow in his ongoing search for his true self.

Having very recently come out as a lesbian, Freddie only began to realise she likes women as her marriage to a man came to an end and after she had been diagnosed as autistic. Both of these events were a catalyst for huge changes in her life in her late 40s. She speaks to us about what this has been like.
