Hiii!! In today’s episode I talk about the things that have been happening in the past week. I am tired of women not being safe in the world, I am tired of having to share stories in order for men to listen, I am tired of having to have the same conversation. Just a little TW as I do mention sexual harassment and assault, this conversation is tiring and can be very sensitive so please don’t listen if you feel it might trigger you in any way. This episode is very much all over the place and I simply just share my thoughts.

Hello!! In today’s episode I’m discussing what feminism means to me, the importance of representation, internalized misogyny and racism that is rooted in the feminism movement. Tackling gender equality will never work if we only listen to white women, it’s important for us to listen to black women, women of colour, trans women, disabled women, muslim women, gay women and ALL other types of women. We’ll never learn if we do not listen. I am aware that I may not speak about these topics perfectly, I am still learning and educating myself, but as a black woman I have had my fair share of racism and dealing with inequality. I simply share my own views and experience, I am always open to learn and to be educated. Women are incredible humans, we are powerful and strong and I will continue to use my own voice to speak for women.
