[…] My career was in communications and he kept after me to arrange a television interview for him. So in the fall of 1987, I wrote a press release and sent it to the local news stations in Pittsburgh. WTAE took an interest and a crew came to the house. Dad had something he wanted to say. He hoped other older people would see his collection and think about finding a hobby of their own. Here's part of what he shared with the interviewer about retirees.
