Yas, Witch! with The Spiritual Gayz + Mystic Dylan

PRESENTED BY FLESHBOT GAY X CYBERSOCKET

Happy Astrological New Year! Spring has sprung and Aries King, Cazden Hunter aka Pup Fable, just celebrated his birthday on March 26th to kick off the first season in the zodiac. To explore Cazden’s growing interest in astrology (which was reignited by Meaty Panda’s years of being a practicing witch) and other old world methods of self-discovery and connecting with others and the beyond, Meaty invited his queer witch friends on per Cazden’s suggestion. What a great way to start his next ride around the sun!

Meaty and Cazden welcome Brandon Alter and Angel Lopez of The Spiritual Gayz. Together they host a twice-monthly podcast where they explore the wide reaches of spirituality without pretending it all makes sense! These two self-described “Galactic Witches” and “Quealers” (queer healers) brought the kiki and the tea on the terrestrial world and the beyond into the studio!

Mystic Dylan is the other guest who is currently hired as the Witch Consultant for Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe collection of shows streaming on AMC+, most recently on “Mayfair Witches” starring Alexandra Daddario (who Meaty Panda actually used to help style in his former career as a Fashion Publicist + Stylist) - pretty fierce!

All five of them discuss queer spirituality in the present day and the resurgence of old tools like astrology and divination practices as a way for the LGBTQ+ community to connect not only with themselves, but to sources greater than themselves.

They all breakdown their experiences with magic from psychic abilities, intuition and the importance of listening to your inner voice to find your personal power and gifts. They all agree that modern science is perfected magic, when once the spiritual leaders or “witches” concocted herbal remedies and potions to cure ailments, they have now moved into pharmaceutical labs to dispense medication. Did you know white willow bark was the precursor to aspirin?

Meaty and Cazden bring up their recent discussion on Quantum Physics, a scientific fact that that one item can be in two places at the same time no matter the distance. Even Albert Einstein was part of the committee when it was proven and he was not into the melika mystica of it all! If science begrudgingly ratified by Einstein is true, magic is clearly real!

There was so much in this cosmic kiki to write up, you just have to check out the episode for yourself! If you’re queer and interested in anything mentioned above, but don’t know where to start, definitely tune in and drink in that spiritual tea that has reached you through time and space!
*Brandon and Angel’s dog, Noche, walked into The Great Beyond the day after this recording. To honor this exalted Leo King, Meaty and Cazden had special episode artwork created for him in loving memory to live on through the digital ether. LA Nightlife, Awoo!

PRESENTED BY FLESHBOT GAY X CYBERSOCKET

This is our first episode not dedicated to fetish and kink - we’re talking queer nightlife (ok, still *some* fetish and kink, but parties lol)! For those watching the video on gay.fleshbot.com, Meaty accidentally got a deeper chemical peel than he anticipated and looks like Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre! OMG how embarassing, please forgive her.

Anywayz, this week we welcome Jeremy Lucido, illustrious L.A. nightlife figure who got his start working in porn at Randy Blue (did you know they’ve had a reboot? HOT!), which brought him the opportunity to photograph queer parties and eventually launch his own printed zine, Starrfucker Magazine, to showcase his true photography style.

Jeremy talks about the new and exceptionally diverse nightlife programming that is new to Precinct. They host Ballroom Nights, Latin Nights, Goth/Emo Nights, Trans Fem/Trans Masc, and Pole Dance Class with Competition. His was introduced to Pup Play at International Mr. Leather (IML) in Chicago when he would eat his lunch next to the pup mosh to watch the pups play.

Ghost Pup Dume also joins in. He launched “HOWL” with his co-producer Cyber Sex Puppy (aka Timo) in collaboration with Jeremy. The pup-centered fetish party with puppy mosh, kink demos, vendors, boot blacks and general beer bust creates a welcoming environment for all. Cazden danced the first party in February. Dume was a contestant in the L.A. Pup Contest and named this year’s Alpha Beta Pup. He also works as a designer at a newer brand, Los Angeles-based Ben Orson Leather, which is making a splash on the fetish scene post-lockdowns.

Meaty and Cazden showcase illustrations that Cyber Sex Puppy/Timo created of them as handler and pup that are so cute! Timo is behind all the stunning “HOWL” artwork!

The beloved Gabriel Green rounds out our guests. He’s a former Mr. LA Leather Bear who launched the “Lost Puppy” event at the historic Eagle LA during his title year in 2014. At the time, the Pup Community was small and underground, but shortly after receiving a kidney transplant with a changed his outlook on life saying, “if life offers you a change, and change for the better, absolutely take it”, he decided to create the space to bring the Pup Community out into the public. Gabriel pitches Cazden on-air to come go-go dance a future “Lost Puppy” party. Look out for that!
He is now a Chair at Los Angeles Leather Pride and its philanthropic leg, LA Leather Cares. L.A. Leather Pride is currently in motion this week and culminates on Saturday with the Mr. LA Leather Contest. This week of various events is created as a space for people curious or experienced to give them the freedom to explore whatever they are into or want to try and express themselves fearlessly.

This is a really fun episode with a bit of everything from creative to porn to parties and of course, fetish and kink!

Jeremy Lucido | Instagram: @jeremylucido + Twitter: @JeremyLucidoGhost Pup Dume | Instagram: @ghostpupdume + Twitter: @ghostpupdumeHOWL | Instagram: @howldtlaFollow Art by Timo (Cyber Sex Pup) on Instagram.Gabriel Green | Instagram: @instagabe77

Fleshbot x Cybersocket | gay.fleshbot.com | Instagram: @cybersocketig + Twitter: @FleshbotGayMeaty + Cazden | All Socials: @meatyandcazden | meatyandcazden.fun
