Trevor is the director of the Armed Forces Initiative with Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. He is fresh off a trip to the Boundary Waters with a group of service members from this organization. The vision of the Armed Forces Initiative is "to provide members of the Military community with the knowledge, experience, and passion needed to be fully operational as hunters and anglers in the forest, on the water, and as conservation stewards for habitat and wildlife as engaged advocates in the legislative process". Many of the members of BHA have a military background. Bringing this subsection of the membership together to collectively explore and fight for wildlife and wild places has been a big success.
